Being a Responsible Student

Being a responsible student is important for school success.  When you
have messy papers, you need to organized them.  If you are not organized, you
will get in trouble, and possibly get bad grades. Be on time for class. Remember
to be responsible and, don’t get in trouble. I think that students should listen to
teachers because they can get things organized.
Being a responsible student is important for school success.

Grades are important to be a responsible student. When you are not a
responsible student, and don’t get work done you can have bad grades. If you
lose your homework and lose your notes you can get in trouble, and get bad
grades. I think that students should pay more attention in class, so they can get
their work done faster.

Life lessons are another way to be a responsible student. You have to be on
time for class. When you don’t be on time for class you can get in trouble. You
have to keep track of your materials, because when you don’t keep track of your
materials you can get in trouble, and get in trouble by losing your materials when
you needed them. I think that students should keep on track of what they’re
doing to get their materials ready.

Being a responsible student is good for students who can succeed.  Even
when a students doesn't get there work done, they are still a student that
succeed. When students don’t be responsible student, they’re still a better person
inside that can succeed. I think it can be hard for students to be responsible even though they still succeed.

Firegirl By:Tony Abbott

Tom Bender is a kind person and doesn't care about how people looks. A new student in Tom's classroom was a girl named Jessica, and she got burned. Tom's classmate didn't like how Jessica looked, but Tom respect how Jessica looked with her burns. Tom's friend Jeff didn't want to hold hands with Jessica because of her burns, and Tom volunteer to hold her hand in class in the morning. When Tom hold her hand he realized that her hand was soft, and didn't feel rough. In Tom's classroom, Tom to started to got a long with Jessica, and talked more to her.  Tom's life changed, and had a good friendship with Jessica. When Jessica had to leave, Tom's classmates realized something about Jessica.

I thought that the book had wonderful details in the story. When I read this book I always thought about the authors message. I think that the authors message was that don't judge people the way they look or there voice sound like, and I think that the authors message was also about just to care about yourself and don't care about peoples problems. I liked how that Tony Abbott thought about this idea because I thought that it was really a good civil rights book. When I read the back of this book I had a connection to the book, and it reminded me that when I went to Pollock pool, I saw a person who had burns, and I didn't care about it. I saw a person who looked like he almost puke, and I thought that it was really rude, and it remind me just like the book. This book is really a good book to summarized and have good connections.

If you want to go on Tony Abbott Website you can go on that website and see what other books Tony Abbott made.

Chairs and Stairs Poem and Paragraph

Walking down the stairs,
People walking in front of me really weren’t fair.
I try going up the stairs,
But all I could see on the ground was tiles squares.
To find that nobody cares,
That I needed a chair.
Finally I found a seat on the table right there,
Taking off my shoes to see my feet are bare.
I try asking someone to help me, just to declare.
I found another chair downstairs,
But the boy across from me glares.
He stole it like he didn't care,
I guess he wants to be a billionaire.
I look for a chair,
But I yelled "Where?!"
With my tears,
I found that there was one under the stairs.
I try not to make it disappear,
So I have to prepare,
A lot of interferes,
To not make it theirs.
I moved the chair,
But I was unaware,
So I fell down the stairs.
Nobody took the chair,
So people laughed and cheered.

Paragraph

I chose to write this rhyming poem because I like writing poems that rhyme. Even though it is a poem that doesn't make sense, I still think that it is a poem about me, when I took the elevator a month and I just started to go up the stairs last week. It was really tiring when I go up the stairs to home base because it is on the 3rd floor. Every time I get home, my older sisters always try to scare me when I'm in the basement so they could beat me up the stairs, but now that I can run, I can beat them. Most of the times, I don't really mind walking up the stairs so I don't complain anymore. :)
